The Polar Express

The Polar Express comes to life when the train departs Bryson city for a journey to our North Pole. Read along with the magical story and meet Santa. Enjoy holiday caroling, hot cocoa, a special treat and a memento for the children. Daily departure times vary. Ticket price includes admission to the Smoky Mountain Trains Museum!

36th Annual Bryson City Christmas Parade

Billed as “the biggest little Christmas parade in the Smokies,” this event lives up to the title! Complete with clowns, an old time boom bah band, floats, homecoming queens, marching bands and of course, Santa. You don’t want to miss this vanishing slice of Americana!

The classic tale of an aging toymaker and his puppet made of pine, Pinocchio, who dreams of becoming a real boy. When the little puppet begins to get into trouble, Geppetto begins to regret his wish and asks the Blue Fairy to make things better. Created especially for children, this hour-long musical will make the audience laugh, cry and celebrate the little details that make us each who we are and who we are to become.

Spirit of Christmas

A true Christmas experience! The signature hemlock is lit with memorial lights, carolers and musical artists abound, and a living nativity proceeds up the avenue. Photos are available with Santa and Mrs. Claus, children can post letters to Santa. A wonderful addition to your holiday plans.
