Home to moonshiners, millionaires, and Horace Kephart, Fontana is indeed one of the most colorful corners of the Great Smokies. 238 pages; over 100 historic photographs. Our Southern Highlanders
by Horace Kephart
Horace Kephart's classic account of life among the people of the Southern Appalachians. A landmark book on the Smokies by the area's most acclaimed writer, who is buried in Bryson City Cemetery. Softcover 474 pages.
