Views of the Nantahala River

“Home of whitewater rafting, kayaking and fishing” Upriver view (pedestrian bridge) looks toward the Nantahala Falls at the end of the 8-mile rafting venue. Cross river view shows slalom gates for competitions and kayaking fun. Down river view shows the Freestyle Kayaking Championship wave feature.

Keep in mind the Nantahala is a dam-fed river, so you may see it at base flow (low water) or with a recreational release (high water).
